All applicants must have an on-site assessment process which includes a writing evaluation, an Institutional TOEFL, IELTs, a math placement exam, and a computer placement exam in order to properly place students within the program. Applicants must have an 80% (B average) for their high school program.
Applicants whose academic record and assessment meet the stated requirements will be considered for admission to the Academic Bridge Program.
Applicants must mail or bring the following documents to the ABP, as a complete admissions package, before being considered for admission:
Students, who meet the selection criteria established by governmental organizations such as the Higher Education Institute, or businesses such as Qatar Petroleum, may have their fees and tuition paid by these agencies. The required letter from the sponsor must certify that the applicant is sponsored by the agency and all costs will be borne by the sponsoring organization.
A schedule of tuition and fees for the ABP is available from the Office of Admissions and Records.
The student is responsible for all tuition and fees for the ABP unless the Academic Bridge program receives a statement of full support from a sponsoring agency.
The Academic Bridge Program begins accepting applications for the next academic year in April.

Admission testing consists of four parts:
Students will be placed in appropriate levels of ability in three areas, English language, mathematical ability and computer ability.
