In an information session, the students are first introduced to the concept of the Student Association where the seriousness and responsibilities of the SA are explained to them. The students are given an insight into the positions available in the SA and the pre -requisites and ethics that must be considered in order to run the campaign.
The following positions are available in the Student Association -
a)President
b) Vice President (male)
c) Vice President (female)
d) Treasurer
e) Secretary
After the registration of students for the SA elections, the candidates are given two weeks to run their campaign. The prospective candidates have always exhibited an admirable campaign which is visible in all areas of the ABP and most other parts of the shared areas in the LAS building. Students may use various methods to convince their peers to vote for them, with one of the requirements being the election speeches. In this session, the audience is able to witness creative and well placed thoughts of students candidates for their peers.
All students are given the opportunity to vote over a span of six hours for their preferred candidates to form the Student Association for the academic year.
