_{Education City Universities Presentation for ABP students}

Each year, the ABP acquaints new students with the Education City universities through presentations at the ABP and visits to the universities' campuses. The purpose of these activities is to give ABP students the opportunity to learn about the various higher education options that are available in Education City. Representatives from the six American universities at Education City come to the Academic Bridge Program early in the fall semester to talk to prospective ABP students about the programs and majors that they offer. They explain the requirements for entering their universities, which are highly competitive. This event is followed by a visit to their campuses in October and a second presentation for all ABP students in November. There are additional presentations in the Spring. The six universities that attend these events are Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar, Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar, Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar, Texas A&M University in Qatar, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar and Northwestern University in Qatar.
