Governmental agencies

Government agencies such as the Higher Education Institute, etc. sponsor students who first come to the ABP and then go on to universities in Education City or outside Qatar.

Businesses

Businesses such as Qatar Petroleum and QTel sponsor students who come to the ABP and then on to university to get a degree and then return to the businesses as employees.

Private sponsorships

Students may be sponsored by private organizations such as charitable agencies, or sponsored individually by organizations such as the Emiri Diwan, which sponsors students on an individual basis.

Students whose tuition and fees are paid by family are considered to be privately sponsored.
