The Second Qatar Teachers of English Network International Conference

The Academic Bridge Program hosted the Second Qatar Teachers of English Network International Conference on Saturday, April 30 in the LAS building of the Education City complex. This conference was for EFL/ELT teachers, teacher trainers, administrators, and for those studying to become English teachers. The conference was held from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and covered topics relating to the integration of technology into the EFL/ELT classroom. During the conference, it was announced that QTEN had officially affiliated with TESOL during its international conference in San Antonio, Texas.  QTEN therefore is now Qatar TESOL.  For additional information, please check the local website for Qatar TESOL at www.qatartesol.org.
